About Phitkari
What is Phitkari?
Phitkari is a solid crystal deodorant made from potassium alum, the same mineral crystal known as phitkari that has been part of Pakistani homes for generations. You wet the crystal, glide it on clean skin and let it dry.
What is potassium alum?
Potassium alum is a naturally occurring mineral salt. It is a natural astringent and has traditionally been used after shaving and as a simple deodorant.
Does Phitkari contain aluminum?
Potassium alum is a mineral salt that contains aluminum. Phitkari does not contain aluminum chlorohydrate or aluminum zirconium, the ingredients used in most conventional antiperspirants.
Is it a deodorant or an antiperspirant?
Phitkari is a deodorant. It helps control underarm odor. It is not designed to stop sweating the way antiperspirants do.
Does Phitkari contain alcohol?
No. Phitkari has no added alcohol.
Is Phitkari halal?
Phitkari is made without alcohol or any other haram ingredients, so it fits a halal-conscious routine.
Can I use Phitkari during Ihram?
Our Pure Unscented crystal has no added scent, so it is the variant to choose during Ihram. Our other variants contain natural extracts such as peppermint and citrus, so we do not recommend them during Ihram. If you are unsure, please ask a scholar.
Will it leave white marks on my clothes?
Phitkari is a clear crystal, so when you apply it on clean skin and let it dry before dressing, it is much less likely to leave white marks than many stick deodorants.
Using Phitkari
How do I use it?
- Wash: start with clean, freshly washed underarms.
- Wet: lightly dampen the top of the crystal with water.
- Glide: apply gently and evenly, then let your skin dry.
How long does one crystal last?
It depends on how often you use it and how much water you use each time. With daily use and proper care, one crystal usually lasts several months, much longer than a standard spray or roll-on.
Can I use it right after shaving?
Yes, but it may tingle slightly on freshly shaved skin. Do not apply on cuts, broken or irritated skin. Our Aloe Vera Leaf variant is made with shaving days in mind.
Can I use it on my face or body?
Phitkari is for external use only. If you use it anywhere other than your underarms, keep a separate crystal for that area to maintain hygiene.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Everyone's skin is different. Please do a patch test on a small area before regular use. Stop using it if you notice redness, irritation or excessive dryness, and speak to a doctor if you have a skin condition.
How should I store my crystal?
- Wipe the crystal dry after each use and put the cap back on.
- Keep it in a dry place, not sitting in water.
- Handle it with care. Like any crystal, it can crack if dropped on a hard floor.

- Turmeric Extract: alum with turmeric and aloe for a gentle, skin-caring routine.
- Aloe Vera Leaf: alum with aloe vera for a calm, comfortable feel on shaving days.
- Citrus Zest: alum with a bright citrus feel for a fresh start to the day.
- Ice Mint: alum with peppermint for a cool, refreshing feel on hot days.
Can I mix different variants in a bundle?
Yes. You can mix any variants in the Buy 2, Buy 3 and Buy 4 + Get 1 Free bundles.

How do I place an order?
Choose your crystals, pick a bundle, add to cart and check out. You will receive an order confirmation by SMS, WhatsApp or email.
How much do the crystals and bundles cost?

Which payment methods do you accept?
Cash on Delivery (COD) is available anywhere in Pakistan. Any online payment options we offer will appear at checkout before you confirm your order.
Will you call to confirm my order?
For Cash on Delivery orders, our team may call or WhatsApp you to confirm your order and address before dispatch.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, as long as it has not been dispatched. Message us on WhatsApp at 0343 5833550 with your order number as soon as possible.
Shipping and delivery
Do you deliver all over Pakistan?
Yes. We deliver to cities and towns across Pakistan through trusted courier partners.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery usually takes 2 to 3 business days in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, and 3 to 5 business days in other cities. See our Shipping Policy for details.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on all bundles of 2 or more crystals. For a single crystal, shipping is Rs. 199.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is dispatched, we send you a tracking number. Visit our Track Your Order page for help.
Returns and replacements
My crystal arrived broken or I received the wrong item. What do I do?
Message us on WhatsApp at 0343 5833550 within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will send a replacement or refund at no extra cost.
Can I return a crystal I have opened?
Because Phitkari is a personal care product used directly on skin, opened or used crystals cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Unopened items can be returned within 7 days of delivery. Read our Return & Refund Policy.
